Privacy Policy
ElectraFlow ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
What We Collect
We collect only the minimum information required to operate the service:
- Account email address — used to create your account, send verification and password recovery emails, and contact you about your subscription.
- Technical project data — circuit definitions, panel configurations, calculation parameters, and project metadata you input or upload to perform electrical sizing, BOQ generation and exports.
- Payment metadata — transaction identifiers and subscription status returned by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect personal browsing history outside of ElectraFlow.
- We do not collect biometric, health, financial, or special-category personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Perform the electrical engineering calculations and exports you request
- Save and restore your projects across sessions and devices
- Operate your subscription, billing, and support
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, receipts)
Data Sharing
We never share or sell your data. Your project data is yours. We do not provide it to advertisers, brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
We use a small number of subprocessors strictly to operate the service:
- Database and hosting infrastructure (to store your account and projects)
- Email delivery (for transactional messages only)
- Payment processor (to handle subscription charges)
- An AI provider, only when you explicitly invoke the AI Assistant on a plan or description you submit
GDPR Compliance
ElectraFlow is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As a user you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your project data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account Settings page in the app, or by emailing electraflow.support@gmail.com.
Data Retention
We retain your project data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and project data are permanently removed. Backup copies are purged within 30 days.
Security
Connections to ElectraFlow are encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Access to production data is restricted and logged.
